Weekly Meetings
Week 10: July 2, 2020

This week we went over the website and report with Professor Ejaz. We are to fix parts of the website and edit the final draft before submitting such as Software, Criteria of Success, Timeline, and details on the security aspect. By next week, we plan to prepare and be ready for the presentation day.
Week 9: July 2, 2020
​
This week we went over the website and report with Professor Ejaz. We are to update the proposal portion of the website completely and finish the final draft of our report. The block diagram, specification table, and timeline needed to be updated on the website. There were some areas that needed to be corrected and added to the report, such as including references into the paragraphs and the differences between our project to what is available in the market. By next week we plan to finalize everything so it can be ready to go over for the upcoming meeting.

Week 8: June 25, 2020
​
This week the meeting was canceled and moved to next week since we are in the phase of going over the website and report. We are given time to update the website completely and have our report almost ready for the final draft. By next week we need to have everything finalized to go over for the upcoming meeting.

Week 7: June 18, 2020
​
Discussed about the website and report. There were some issues with the website such as the color tags and the progress log need to be expanded on. Timeline needed to show plans for the proposal semester and design semester. The specification table need to have technical details and the block diagram would need to be updated. Also, discuss about the project such as how much power would the system need and need to think about security for the smart cart. (55 minutes)

Week 6: June 11, 2020
​
Discussed about the aspects of the Smart Shopping Cart and presented Powerpoint to show a rough draft of how the system will operate. The meeting ended with the project being approved and moved onto further research being done. (55 minutes)

Week 5: June 4, 2020
​
Discussed project ideas 7 through 8 and received feedback. Project 8 and 10 were deemed good while Project 9 seemed lacking and a bit difficult. It was decided to change some aspects of Project 8 and focus on it conduct further research.(1 hour)

Week 4: May 28, 2020
​
Discussed Project 4 and 6. Project 4 was deemed unnecessary, while Project 6 was thought to be too complex due to heavy robotics and coding. Two projects were suggested by Professor Ejaz. A smart shopping cart used to pay at the cart instead of at the cashier. A pen that captures what is written on paper and transfers it to a computer or phone. It was advised to research new ideas to present for next week.(55 minutes)

Week 3: May 21, 2020
​
Discussed new Project Ideas 4 through 6. received some feedback on Project 4 and 6 and further research to be conducted. It was advised to research new ideas to be presented. (55 minutes)

Week 2: May 14, 2020
​
Discussed project ideas 1 through 3 and received feedback. New ideas need to be presented for the next and more research needs to be conducted for the next meeting. (45 minutes)

Week 1: May 6, 2020
Zoom meeting with Professor Notash and Professor Ejaz. Teams are organized and assigned to an advisor. We went over the syllabus and what is expected of us for the Proposal class. Expected to prepare to share project ideas along with diagrams.
